2017/2018 Seasonal Variation

For the 2017/2018 season, the varieties grown are listed below, along with their heat ratings .

Carolina Reaper – 1,400,000 to 2,200,000 Scoville Heat Units – current 2017/18 world record holder

Trinidad Moruga Scorpion – 1,200,000 to 2,000,000 Scoville Heat Units – previous world record holder

The Hippy Seed Company Chocolate Scorpion – probably over 2,000,000 Scoville Heat Units – I tried one I grew this year and in my opinion it was way HOTTER than the Carolina Reaper grown next to it!

7 Pot Douglah – 923,889 to 1,853,936 Scoville Heat Units

Trinidad Scorpion Butch T – 800,000 to 1,463,700 Scoville Heat Units – previous world record holder

Infinity Pepper – 1,067,286 to 1,250,000 Scoville heat units – previous world record holder

Bhut Jolokia (The Ghost Pepper) – 855,000 to 1,041,427 Scoville Heat Units – previous world record holder

Arseclown Jolokia – 855,000 to 1,041,427 Scoville Heat Units

Bhut Jolokia (The Ghost Pepper) x Yellow Seven Pot – probably 850,000 to 1,000,000 – previous world record holder

Yellow 7 Pot – 850,000 to 1,000,000

Bubblegum 7 Pot – 850,000 to 1,000,000

These chillies are picked, dried, (some are cold smoked) and blended to produce a truly psychotic mix full of flavour and searing unforgettable heat! Use sparingly, as very little of my products will go a long way to firing up any dish or drink with ripping heat. Take care not to hold the chilli powder containers over steaming food (better to tip some onto a spoon), as the moisture will cause the powder in the jar to clump! Keep well away from children and do NOT allow my products to contact your eyes or other sensitive parts of your anatomy! Oh yeah, one more thing, best of luck on the dunny the next day!
